NOTES:
  1. For standard bottom arm types used with Opcon Converters, see "Bottom Arms" section of Opcon website. Contact Opcon for information on alternate bottom arms that may be adapted to the Opcon spindle system.
  2. For door leaf preparation of standard bottom arms (excluding bottom slide arms) see each individual manufacturer's website for the latest template drawings. Use Opcon drawings herein for bottom slide arm installations with Opcon Converters.
  3. Offset Pivot and Offset/Butt Hung Doors using bottom slide arms (Rixson #327, Dorma BTS-80/1 with #7451N slide arm, etc.), have the converter mounted between the jambs. No jamb notching is required.
  4. Offset/Butt Hung (Hinged) Doors using a standard Bottom Arm (Rixson #27, Dorma BTS-80, etc.) have the converter mounted partially under the pivot jamb and will require a clearance notch at the pivot jamb to permit full door closing.
