  4. For Standard Bottom Arm types used with Opcon Converters, see "Bottom Arm" section of Opcon website. Contact Opcon for information on alternate bottom arms that may be adapted to the Opcon spindle system.
  5. For door leaf preparation of Standard Bottom Arms (excluding bottom slide arms) see each individual manufacturer’s website for the latest template drawings. Use Opcon drawings and templates at "Floor Blockouts" for bottom slide arm installations.
  6. Offset/Butt Hung (Hinged) Doors using a Standard Bottom Arm (Rixson #27, Dorma BTS-80, etc) will require a clearance notch at the pivot jamb to permit full closing of the door and must be mounted partially under the pivot jambs (see Floor Blockouts drawings).
  7. Offset/Butt Hung (Hinged) Doors using Slide Arm type Bottom Arms (Dorma BTS-80/1 w/7451N slide arm, and Rixson #327) do not require jamb notching and are mounted between the jambs (see Floor Blockouts drawings).
